Bob Burns is responsible for construction management services for all
Specht related developments, as well as for clients who request our
expertise on new construction projects. He assists clients through the
land use/permitting and/or construction phase of each project.
Bob has
provided development and construction management services for a broad
range of clients that include among many others: Intel, Nike, Fujitsu,
Wachovia Bank, MedicaLogic, PacifiCare, FEI and Hollywood Video, FEI
Company, Webridge, West Coast Paper, Calwest Industrial Holdings,
Venture Corporation, and Unico Properties. |

Lovejoy Blocks — Unico Properties
Specht Development, Inc. provided construction management services for
Unico Properties’ two block, 619,000 square foot mixed use project
located in Portland’s thriving Pearl District. The project cost
approximately $105,000,000 and was completed in 2008. The project was
designed by LRS Architects and GGLO Architects, with Andersen
Construction serving as the General Contractor. |
Block One is a nine-story 290,000 square foot building that consists of
a full-service Safeway grocery store, three levels of commercial office
space and four levels of above ground structured parking. Office tenants
enjoy a private green roof garden. The building’s exterior features
glass, opaque window panels, precast concrete and limestone veneer. The
core and shell were built to LEED specifications.
Block Two is a 16-story 329,000 square foot building featuring retail
space and for rent apartments. The building’s exterior features glass
and brick with metal panel accents. A green roof garden is available for
tenant use.

Kelley Point
Calwest Industrial Holdings, LLC (an affiliate of RREEF) hired Specht
Development, Inc. as the Project Manager for the development of
Buildings 4 & 5 at the Kelley Point Distribution Center in Portland,
Oregon. Buildings 4 & 5 total 409,500 sf of 30’ clear distribution
space. At a total project cost in excess of $20,000,000, this phase of
the project was completed in October 2007. |

Willamette Marketplace
Specht Development, Inc. was hired by Venture Corporation as the Project
Manager for the Willamette Marketplace located in West Linn, Oregon.
Willamette Marketplace is a 73,620 sf redevelopment of an aging retail
center and was completed in June 2008 |

The $20,000,000 project included the demolition of two buildings,
remodeling of two buildings and new construction of three buildings. The
Willamette Marketplace comprises three one-story retail buildings, a
two-story office building, and a three-story building which has retail
on the ground floor and medical & professional offices on the second and
third floors. There is a separate entrance to the medical and
professional offices on the second and third floors as well as a
separate parking lot, grand entrance and a well-appointed lobby,
complete with an elevator and restroom. |

Cornell Sunset Center
The Cornell Sunset Center is located in Beaverton, Oregon between
Highway 26 and NW Cornell Road. The 3.84 acre project site includes the
construction of two retail buildings and 187 parking spaces. The Wickes
Furniture building is a retail furniture store located at the rear of
the property and will occupy 42,875 square feet. The second building, a
BedMart retail store, is 5,350 square feet, and is located in the
southeastern corner of the site. Construction started in October 2006
and was completed in July 2007 at a cost of $7,000,000.

Argyle Square
A former truck stop located in Wilsonville was converted to Argyle
Square, a 376,000 sf shopping center anchored by Target, Costco and
Office Depot. The project cost approximately $40,000,000 and was
completed in 2004. Specht Development, Inc. provided construction
management services for Argyle Capital LLC

Hardwood Industries
Specht Development, Inc. was hired by Hardwood Industries as the Project
Manager for a 123,285 sf manufacturing and headquarters building located
in Sherwood, Oregon. Specht oversaw all aspects of the $6,845,585
project including: coordination of land use applications (partition &
site plan review), building design, contractor bidding process and
construction management. The project was completed in 2004. |

Oregon Sports Medicine Project
Oregon Sports Medicine Associates, a privately held physician practice
specializing in orthopedics, hired Specht Development, Inc. to oversee
construction of their new 20,867 sf facility located in Tualatin,
Oregon. The project cost $2,096,000.
The facility, completed in early 2004, includes medical offices,
state-of-the-art operating rooms and an ambulatory surgery center.

General Contractor. |
